300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

To make the Drink (makes 850ml, to serve 10)

400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (as made above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish

Directions

To prepare the Cordial: Put all the components into a saucepan, bring to a light boil, stirring so the sugar melts. Then, take off the heat and let it to cool entirely. Pour into an sealable bottle, seal and store in the fridge, where it will keep for around a month.

For the Cocktail Base: Combine the specified spirits and syrup into a big jug, let it rest for 60 minutes, then pass it through preferably using muslin, so it's fully clarified.

To serve: Measure 85ml of the cocktail base into your mixing glass containing ice, gently stirring lightly for a minute to chill. Pour into a frosted cocktail glass or similar, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a light spray of the essential oil above the glass.
